APT Awarded Additional Work with Thailand's Ministry of Energy

APT has been given an additional six month contract to review transmission system interconnection issues related to Thailand's latest round of IPP bidding.  We will be working with the Energy Policy and Planning Office of The Ministry of Energy.

This project follows our involvement with EPPO during the IPP bid evaluation and involves the new transmission facilities required to accommodate the new IPP projects proposed by the successful bidders.

Welcome to the new APT news service.

As part of our effort to improve our web presence, we are migrating the news portion of the APT web site to a blog format.  The intent is that this will make it easier to keep our clients and other interested people updated with regards to our latest corporate news, employment opportunities and other information.  The news section of our web site is not intended to replace or mirror the content of our SE Asia Energy discussion group available on Yahoo! Groups (you can subscribe to the discussion group on the home page of APT's web site at www.aptthailand.com and, in the future, at www.aptenterprises.net) but rather to provide specific information concerning APT's current activities and plans.  The SE Asia Energy group will continue to be our forum for posting news, information and discussion related to the Southeast Asia energy markets.

We hope that you find this new format of benefit.
